Take a break.

As much as it is nice to look after other people it is also really important to look after yourself. 

Sometimes we get so caught up in our busy lives, whether its work, or family life, we often forget to take just 5 minutes to ourselves. And also, taking some time to yourself is also great for your mental health, especially to me as a mum. So here is my little list of self care ideas.

  1. Have a bath.
  2. Read a book.
  3. Take a nap.
  4. Meditate.
  5. Put some earphones in and listen to your favourite music.
  6. Go for a run.
  7. Pet a dog.
  8. Binge watch your favourite TV show.
  9. Have a cup of tea.
  10. Walk your dog.
  11. Work out.
  12. Have an early night.
  13. Paint your nails.
  14. Go for a massage.
  15. Online shopping.
  16. Watch a romcom, Bride Wars is a personal favourite.
  17. Wash and style your hair.
  18. Have a weekend away.
  19. Eat your favourite food.
  20. Phone a friend you haven’t spoken to in a while.
